Noise Kitchen

Noise Kitchen is a community-driven workshop dedicated to electronic music and DIY culture. Current DIY and educational activities as well as Open Jams happen in collaboration with Petrohradská kolektiv – an artist-run initiative and our new home.

LOTUS WASH Lotus Wash is David Herzig, a core member of Noise Kitchen. Currently, you can know him from the Czech band Bert & Friends, from his collaborations with Arleta or from the modular power trio GTA Soundsystem. Expect a proper hardware live jam built only with the best ingredients.

MŽOURACK

Mžourack steps from the smoke and fumes of Noise Kitchen's DIY workshop with his debut live set in Prague. But don't let yourself be fooled, Mžourack is no rookie. Get a heavy dose of anything-goes sonic freestyling from an arsenal of (mostly) homemade modular weaponry. This is an occasion we have been looking for a long time! – FREDDIE HUDSON

Freddie is an independent music writer and journalist, DJ and musician based in Prague. For the Noise Kitchen night at Akropolis, expect psychotropic ambient music bordering on the limits of listening states and club energy.

- MATĚJ KOTOUČEK

Besides his involvement in Noise Kitchen, Matěj makes music in the electro-acoustic duo Thistle or solo as Loops of Decay. He is a member of the AVA collective known for their work with field recordings and adventurous events, as well as the founder of the electronic project Sky To Speak, or former head of the Nona Records. In addition to his own work, he composes music for theater. For the party in Akoropolis, he prepared a set where dance groove joins hands with kaleidoscopic rhythms, contemporary club sound with world traditions.
